I admit bias with this book. I live in Nashville, so I absolutely LOVED the setting. I felt like I know the private school in which this book takes place, which is hilarious. If I'm right, then the author absolutely nailed the descriptions. I even live in the exact same neighborhood that one of the families lives which made it extra cool to read. Anyway, Emily Giffin is a master at tackling sensitive topics. She writes in a way that doesn't feel uncomfortable, yet the ideas are realistic. I liked the dichotomy between the rich and the poor, the haves and the have nots, and even though it seemed a bit stereotypical at times, I think it was accurate. The main characters - even the "villains" were likeable and I felt myself cheering on several of them. Great story!
