The story is told from the perspectives of Nina, Tom, and Lyla which helps with the flow of the story and is interesting to hear from the parents and daughter - trying to uncover what the truth is.

The story is timely because every day we see someone - an adult, celebrity, child etc. - make a mistake on social media that can have a lasting impression on their reputation and family.

It makes you take a look at parents and how far they'll go to protect their children - is there a time where you can't or shouldn't step in and try to fix things? The story takes a good look at when to let your kids make mistakes and try and guide them through the consequences of their actions.

The story looks at race and class biases and overall tells an entertaining story with relatable and imperfect characters.
