I received this book from Bookish for an honest review. At first the story held me. Nina, Kirk and Finch - a recently very rich family and Lyla and Tom - Lyla, a student at Windsor, the elite school, as a "scholarship" kid. Lyla goes to a party and Finch posts a pic to his friends of Lyla on a bed, her breast exposed, skirt hiked up with an green Uno card in hand with the caption - she finally got her Green Card. Nina is incensed at what her son would do to a woman. Nina, who told one friend in college - was date raped. Her husband Kirk, tries to bribe Tom, Lyla's dad with $15K to let the incident slide so Finch does not have to go before the honor board. Great start. Then the book dragged. Finch asks Lyla out and she goes. Nina is worried her son has screwed up morals as he is OK with his dad bribing Tom and what money can do for a person. Nina goes home to visit - to her more "normal" family. I skimmed about half the book and read the ending, which I did not like Not my fave Emily Giffin
