Just finished All We Ever Wanted and I loved it! This isn't my first Emily Giffin novel, but it is definitely one of my favourites.
The novel's main theme centers around family values as well as the way women are treated (and mistreated). In this day and age with the 'me too' movement front and center I think this was a perfect time for a novel like this.
This novel features strong women and the men who stand behind these women. I loved the characters and I loved the story! It had me guessing until the end!
I tell people that Emily Giffin is chick lit with depth. It felt like a beach read, and I couldn't put it down, but it has a real message.
