I think this novel is very relative to our time in society! It hits home for lots of folks! I can definitely say Nina is a very courageous woman, where we see it almost regularly that women in her stature wouldn't be as brave! The cover is very attractive as well. I think women everywhere should read this book for sure! It's a book you can re-read and discover things in yourself countlessly!!
Lyla can be related to any young teen female thru and thru! Being a mother it definitely pulled at my heart strings! Kirk is going to be someone you will wish to give a piece of your mind! As not all abuse is physical, I'd say this really targets many cases with emotional abuse because Nina felt as she's lost her true self in the marriage. It's not that she entirely regrets the marriage but she regrets that she didn't see it sooner for her son Finch's sake.
