This is an interesting mystery, exploring themes of identity, community and trust.
The praise by Jodi Picoult acted as a strong incentive for me to read ‘All We Ever Wanted’ by Emily Griffin. From the synopsis I was excited to learn more about the character of Nina. I was intrigued to learn how her humble origin will react with the wealth of her new family. Tom sounded like an endearing character and I wondered whether there will be a love story between them. The mention of the photo twist revealed a mystery factor, and I was drawn to know what is the truth about the characters!

The first person narration allows the reader to enter Nina’s mind and understand her genuine discomfort with her family’s newly acquired wealth. All other characters are described in a well-rounded manner and entice the reader to find out how their lives will change in the course of the novel.
