I enjoyed the first look of All We Ever Wanted and looked forward to reading the entire story. I enjoyed this novel for the most part. The question of "did he do it; did he not" kept me turning the pages, however, once I had a good idea of where the story was going I began to wonder what the point was really. The answer to if he did it wasn't exactly a driver; this is certainly not a mystery, or a who-dun-it. And by the time I was reaching the end I began to wonder what the point was really. I see the message that is probably good for teens, and understand that it's good for people to be aware of issues so relevant to our day, but by the end it just seemed like high school drama to me. Perhaps I'm just not the ideal audience.
