This was a totally consuming drama that I couldn't put down. Unfortunately, since reading this book, the author has made some problematic comments that will likely deter me from reading any more of her books. Which is too bad, because I did genuinely enjoy this book.

This story is very timely and deals with privilege and who we choose to believe in he said/she said scenarios and why. I also give credit to the author for approaching the relationship between the victim and the accused in a different (and honestly, a very relatable) way than I have seen it dealt with in similar books.
I enjoyed the read, but might have a hard time getting past some of the author's unrelated social media comments.
