This is by far the best book Emily Giffin has ever written. It's powerful, remarkable, so witty, and yet serious. It's unlike her backlist. This is a very serious subject especially in this world we are living in. Her writing just captures you in immediately, and all of the characters are so relatable. You feel emotionally for the main character, and you also feel for his parents. Every character in this book has issues that they have to accept and deal with. This book was so well written, that I read it twice. It's just one of those books you can't put down because you have to know what happens. I cannot wait to see what Giffin comes up with for her follow up book, because anyone that reads All We Ever Wanted will want to read every word Giffin writes for the rest of her career.
