This is a story that has a lot to do with the world that we live in today, but from the perspectives of people who we don’t usually usually hear from in this type of situation. All We Ever Wanted follows three charters- Lina, Tom & Lyla who become involved in a scandal of sorts. We see all the characters go through the turmoil of deciding not only what is best for their own lives, but more importantly what is best for the ones they love. Each character has an extremely important story to tell and even though they may not be in their exact shoes, there stories weave into each other to create a great and memorable story. The writer does a great job of differentiating each POV that we see throughout this story and the reader is able to put themselves in the bodies of whoever is telling their story. All in all, All We Ever Wanted was extremely relatable to the times today and an extremely heartwarming story.
