I waited for awhile to be able to read this book. Emily Gideon is one of my favorite authors since I read Something Borrowed, after seeing the movie. The thing about All We Ever Wanted by Emily Giffin is that it is not a typical Emily Giffin book. It is not one of her usual love stories. The book deals with issues that are relevant in our world today. A lot of it focuses on social media and the bad things that could happen from it. The story jumps back and forth between the viewpoint of different people. Of course the people are going to end up being sort of dysfunctional. I was interested as I read but it was not typical Emily Giffin for me. She did an okay job but to me this was not her best work.
