From the beginning we have a clear description of the central characters, and enough to draw you into the book. Is this a battle of the social classes - the wealthy family that can probably buy their way out of problems, versus the middle class single parent? What happened to Layla? What does Finch and Beau have to do with it? This excerpt left me wondering, and eager to find out! Can’t wait to read the book!
