This excerpt piqued my curiosity almost immediately. Two very different contemporary families, socially, economically, and structurally, but each facing the challenge of teenage children navigating new choices, making adult decisions and dealing with the consequences. I'm anxious to read more about the personal journies of Nina, Tom, and Lyla; what relationships will develop; and what conflucts will be inevitable.
