I'm left in whirlwind of dread and suspense and worry for this young girl and the decision, a decision that should have been harmless, to go to a party and potentially have one too many drinks. So far we've met the parents of one involved party, and the father of the young girl and the author has created distinct, separate and complex personalities for all of them. Not an easy task, and one that I look forward to delving into further. This book has the potential to be timely, appropriate, and potentially heartbreaking. Looking forward to more.
