At first I thought this was going to be a book for middle age housewives due to the initial first-person narrative (and the theme of "woe is me, I'm so wealthy I can't even handle it) but it quickly became more interesting as the reader learns that there is more to the story (and more narrators). More specifically, there is some serious drama happening between the kids of these adult narrators, something that seems seriously damning, even this early on in the book.

I think I would continue reading this book because I'm curious as to what has happened and what will happen moving forward. With that being said, I'm typically not drawn to these types of books (again, written for women like my mother) so I'm not sure I would pick it up on my own had I seen it on Amazon or at my local bookstore.

The cover is appealing but just generic enough that I have no idea what it actually has to do with the book.
