At first I thought this was going to be like every other dual narrative past/present novel but I was very mistaken. The idea of bridging the past and present narrative with a literal ghost is just brilliant. In a way this gives me Lovely Bones vibes mixed with a little bit of the grief and high emotions of White Oleander and I'm here for it.
