Paranormal Historical Fiction? I am usually up for trying something new, but this one just does not resonate with me. The first two chapters were full of too much inane detail. As a reader, I like to have the freedom to use my own imagination to set the scene and learn the character's personalities with the author's gentle guiding. I don't need a lot of description about "crusty" garlic bread and "cheesy" casserole. I think I'll leave this one for someone else.
