I enjoyed the brief introduction to this book. Emily is struggling with grief over the loss of her both her parents 10 years earlier and is not coping well. And she has just discovered that her first job will be in a location which has a lot of significance to her parents. A once exciting start to her new job has become a thing of sorrow.
I really feel for this character and look forward to seeing how she navigates this emotional struggle.
