To be fair, this was a relatively short first look at this novel - two relatively short chapters - so it is possible that it just wasn't enough to really draw me in as a reader. I wasn't sure about the plot description but I thought I would give it a try because I do like stories that span multiple timelines, but I can't say that this really interested me at all upon reading it. I just didn't get invested in the characters right out the gate, but again, it is possible that there just wasn't enough to go off of.
