I really enjoyed the subject matter I was reading, the setup and the potential for drama between Veronica and Emily and Colin and Ryan is great. But I will say that this particular third person narration style seems very passive. I couldn't quite immerse myself into the situation or really feel what Emily was struggling with. So her brush off of Veronica for trying to touch on her grief seems a bit harsh. Also you are telling me that 10 years have passed and this is the first time you are bringing up counseling or moving on?
