I I really enjoyed reading the first look of All That Was by Tanya E Williams. I liked how the author draws the reader in right from the start with Emily and her boyfriend entering the house. I was able to clearly see the setting and found myself in the kitchen right alongside Emily. The characters’ personalities become apparent right from the start. Not much occurs in the first two chapters, but the way that the author presents the story and its characters entice me to continue to read the story. I can’t wait to read the rest!
