I’m afraid I would need a lot more to be able to give this novel a fair opinion. I found the writing style a little tedious and overly descriptive and the storyline very slow moving. The characters seem to be lackluster and flat and that could be because I need to read more to get to know them better. Unfortunately from this excerpt, this is just not a novel I would buy.I learned more about the book from the introduction prior to reading the first look and it certainly seemed like the storyline has some real possibilities to gain momentum and interest as it progresses. However based on the first look, I’m not sure I want to spend the time reading further in the hope that the storyline will hold my interest. Sorry, this one is just not for my bookshelf.
