This book was astounding. Raw, emotional, heartfelt, beautiful. The style of writing felt very real. With three point of views, sometimes not all the characters will feel fully fleshed out, but Noor, Salahudin, and Misbah all felt like people I knew. The author didn't shy away from some hard topics in their stories. The influence of their environment, families, and religion meant dealing with some tough choices and acknowledgements. I became invested in each of their lives and stayed up well into the early hours of the morning to finish All My Rage while sobbing. Despite the heavy topics discussed (please look at the content warnings at the front of the book), the ending wrapped up beautifully and had me reflecting on my own life as well as the lives of several family members. I truly feel anyone could relate to at least one of the elements of this book, and have recommended it to every person I talk to about books!
