Loved it from the start and can't wait for more!

This is fabulous! I wasn't sure this is such a change from her previous works but it is so good. The writing is much more adult and she really does it well. I honestly did not like this author's first series so I wasn't even going to look at this but then it was here so I figured why not give it a try. I am so glad that I did because it is fabulous! The characters come to life immediately and I was sucked in from page one. I don't like the cover so much but it is interesting. It is just a bit plain but I like the color combination. I will definitely be buying this for the library and promoting it in the library. I may even buy a personal copy and that is saying something because honestly I only purchase fantasy and scifi at this point. I have read enough genres that I know what I like and plus after the pandemic I am just ready to relax and escape when I sit down to read.
