All My Rage was a pleasant surprise for me! This multiple POV YA novel touches on generational trauma, teenage relationships and friendships, and the burdens young POC can feel when outcasted in society in a beautiful and realistic way. The relationship between Sal and Noor is one that most teenagers can probably relate to, while the relationship between them and their families, as well as them and their peers, bring forth a new perspective on the struggles of immigrants, Muslims and POC in the US. One of my personal favorite parts was how beautifully written this was. Though marketed as YA, and certainly is in some ways, I believe this book is also for the adults.
The character arcs are woven together beautifully and even the uncomfortable or difficult plot points are approached with grace and truth. A must-read for all teenagers and adults wanting to gain a perspective that is often underrepresented and overlooked in YA fiction.
