I am so excited for this book because I have been a fan of Sabaa's since An Ember in the Ashes! I read it right when it released, and then I met Sabaa during her first trip to Bookcon in 2015. It feels surreal to see her move into the contemporary genre now that AEITA is over, but I'm so happy to see her branching out. I've heard and read snippets of this and feel like it'll rip my heart out in the best way with lyrical prose, dynamic characters, and a powerful storyline.
