Few books can make me feel so much with just a few lines. This opens by landing a solid punch to the gut, hinting at the dark, distressing things to come, and I am here for it. The writing is mesmerizingly beautiful and, no matter how injurious this read may be, I highly suspect I’ll come out in the other end better off than I was when I began.
