I love this pretty and colorful cover! But this plot really drags my heart in. I, too, faced such heart wrenching decisions as a youngster, and they really do set up your life path in such a searing way. The world looms so large and the decisions seem so big and the outcomes ill-fated no matter which way you turn and it can be perilous and hard to try to figure out the best plan for your life. This really pulls on my heart strings and I can't wait to find out what happens.
