I've really enjoyed reading Sabaa Tahir's fantasy, but I was unsure how her writing would be in a different genre. This excerpt is very good, with the strong first person narration drawing me into the world of Sal, Noor, and Misbah. I'm really excited to see how their perspectives and lives intersect.
