Sabaa Tahir’s enigmatic characters had me hooked from the start. I was fully invested in their story from their introduction on the page. That’s a talent few authors can fulfill. I could tell this story would pack an emotional punch. Well-written and descriptive, this is a story that will stick with the reader.
