I am so excited to read All by Rage now that I've read the First Look. I'm already feeling so much for Noor and Sal as they try to navigate such difficult circumstances with their father, especially as their mother becomes ill. And I cannot deny that I am incredibly compelled by Misbah's chapters. I look forward to seeing how the stories play out and come together, especially after that intriguing message from the fortune teller that Misbah will fail all three of her children. I have to say, I'm really excited about the representation in this book as well. I love to see Pakistani and Pakistani-American culture represented and am particularly interested in the potential intersectionality implied by the fortune teller's reference to a third child who is, "not she, or he, nor of the third gender." I can't wait for this book now!
