Eek! This is an exciting one!
I have been eagerly awaiting this book as soon as I found out that Sabaa Tahir was writing it. I loved Tahir's Ember in the Ashes series, and when I heard she was writing a contemporary story, I was already hooked.
Already I can tell that I am going to enjoy this book. I love Tahir's writing style and it's so fun to see how it translates to contemporary characters. The scene with Misbah and the fortune teller has the feel of Tahir's fantasy stories, and I'm excited to see how those flashbacks to the past connect with what is happening in the present.
46 pages was not nearly enough, and I'm ready to read the rest of the book right now!
