From page one and moving through the chapter I found myself captivated. Poetic words, beautiful descriptions, a writing style that flows wonderfully. I felt this longing to read more and I feel it still as I await the opportunity to get my hands on this book. Salahudin is living his life in Juniper, California dealing with things most young people don't typically deal with. A coming of age, historical fiction, and all the feels that only a truly talented author like Sabaa Tahir can create within a reader.
