I appreciate that the author is very clear and up front of trigger warnings. While I am not personally triggered by any of those listed, I currently want to read books that are lighter, if not completely, at least mostly, and this doesn't seem to be a book that I am ready for in the moment. Moving on to the actual writing, the author seems very descriptive and I appreciate the flow. It just doesn't seem like the piece that I am in the mindset for at the moment.
