As someone who has loved Tahir's prior works, I was excited to see what her ya contemporary debut would entail and I'm glad to report that it's everything I hoped it would be. Even with a short preview, I can tell that Sal and Noor are going to be super fleshed out and well-developed characters. It's got such emotional depth to it as well, which makes me excited to read the full-length novel!
