WHAT a powerful read!
I had never read anything written by Sabaa Tahir, but this excerpt was incredible, I was immediately drawn into the story and crushed when I reached the end and couldn't continue with the rest of the book.
The way she wrote the the characters with their various points of view kept the motion of the story going in an intense way that made me want to know more. She created such a vivid sense of each scene and each characters introduced felt so important to the story, I felt like I was immediately thrown in the fold of what was happening and it was such a captivating writing style.
I'm already looking forward to getting a finished copy to see where Tahir takes these themes that deal with family struggles, faith and how each of us are different as people.
