Affliction is a beautiful and personal story that everyone should read. It is about a gay man in a time where that was not accepted to be gay. It is a very wonderful story that needs to be told more often. It tells the true life struggle for people in the lgbtq+. It was a very moving and powerful story. The writings as so easy to understand and the was great imagery. It is so perfect for pride month. I loved the characters in this book. I really licked how the author included pictures in the book so you could see the people and really be one with the book which I loved. It was so good like really good that I read it in one sitting which is not something I do often ,so that really say something about how good the book was. I would totally read this book again and again. I would give the book four and a half stars. I can’t wait to see more people to read this book and to see what they have to say about it.
