I'm not much of a non-fiction reader, so I didn't expect to enjoy this at all. Boy was I surprised when I got to the end of the First Look and wanted more! The writing here is so good, with almost a hypnotic quality. The descriptive writing makes the setting easy to picture and I just want to keep reading!
