It is incredible hearing about the life of a closeted father from the perspective of his daughter, going all the way back to her childhood. These are stories we rarely hear about, especially from the mid-1900s. I hope this opens the door for so many people (especially parents) who are still in the closet, and for their families to understand their inconceivable struggles--but also the unbelievable love--that comes from it. I can't wait to read the rest!
