Immediately I felt transported into the life of Laura Hall. The detailed metaphors and multi sensory writing made me feel like I was a fly on the wall of her life. What drew me in the most is the way love and connection is portrayed with such complexity. There is no easy answer to unraveling family secrets but Hall does it with such love and interest it made me want to keep following her journey of uncovering her truths.
