Wow! I couldn't imagine living a secret life from my children and friends for years and waiting to be myself until I was eighty. Ralph believed that he being gay was bad. The amount of suffering and pain he went through is horrible. Books like this remind me that people cannot be their genuine selves until we as a society understand and accept their struggle. Really looking forward to ready this one.
