I enjoyed the first part of this book
Affliction, a nonfiction book wrote by Laura Hall about her father, is a very interesting read. Laura recounts her growing-up years in California with her parents and three siblings. Her father, a former soldier in World War II, tells Laura an enormous secret about himself; a secret that would change her life, and that of everyone else.
I really liked the start of this book, and the writing is very fluid and evocative.
