Ralph Hall's story includes three times of coming out and in a historical context when it was not as, potentially, welcoming as present day. To read the impact of remaining closeted on family is an interesting perspective. I am wondering if there are similarities to Fun Home by Alison Bechdel. As someone in the queer community, this story is important and hopefully highlights the benefits of having supportive spaces to be yourself.
