Nonfiction has never been my cup of tea but Affliction had me hooked from the first sentence. I want to know more about this family and Laura's relationship with her dad. So far all we have gotten is a brief glimpse and to see the whole picture and understand the man who just blurted out to his daughter on a walk that he's gay would be a great read.
