Author was able to keep me interested in their story and with memoirs that is sometimes difficult. This seems like an excellent book for pride month and tells the story from a different point of view. One who grew up with a closeted dad from the 40s on. This is probably the story most gay men lived with and it’s nice that we can now tell their stories and see the signs that were ignored or patronized by society.
