A cross between Gossip Girl and Get Out? YES PLEASE. But wow, did this surprise me in the best way. It was fast paced and engaging, the writing was fantastic, and it brought up social justice issues in such a spectacular way. It was certainly thought provoking; I'm so glad I read it with a buddy read as there was much to discuss and unpack. The authors note is a MUST READ! Definitely looking forward to reading what this author comes out with next.
