This was way out of my normal reading genre but I'm glad I powered through. This dark academia thriller caught me completely by surprise and now I can't recommend it enough. I would also say this is a good crossover for adult readers as it's pretty gritty for YA standards.

I hold by the publisher pitch that it’s Gossip Girl meets Get Out - cannot tell you how many times that gets a customer’s attention! It’s totally accurate and chilling. I cannot believe this is a debut, I can’t wait for the author’s next book! Also, I read this as an audiobook and the narrator is fantastic! Highly recommend going in that direction.
