I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book. I was actually a bit scared to read it. Once I started, i could not put it down. This is a dark academia thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The two main characters, Devon and Chiamaka are seniors in high school. They are both selected as Prefects which helps with College admissions and resumes. Both are brutally harassed by an unknown person named Aces. Both try and find the person by working together before their lives are ruined. I loved how the author explored some very tough but relatable issues. There was some sweet romance but it wasn't the main focus of the story. Both of the main characters were very lovable and I truly enjoyed this book
There are a lot of tough subjects within this book so I do not recommend it for young readers. This is definitely an upper YA book
