DAMN. This book was far more than what I ever could have anticipated and I loved every moment of it. So many twists and turns, and the comparison to Get Out was entirely perfect - more perfect than I ever could have anticipated. it also reminds me of When No One Is Watching by Alyssa Cole because of the unsettling claustrophobic feeling the plot provides, and the twist that no one (or at least I didn't) see coming. Or I guess I should say twists, plural, because there were a lot of them. And all of them surprised me and kept me reading late into the night.

This book explores class, race, homophobia, and a whole lot more. PLUS, the characters are fantastic, and I honestly cannot get this one out of my head.

Also, this cover is a work of art. TBH, it's the only reason I was drawn to the book in the first place. And then of course I read the summary and was doubly drawn to the book. And neither the cover art or the plot disappointed in this case. Definitely one that I won't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a thriller to keep them on their toes.
