This book is set up in a modern age with LGBTQ+ rep in both characters. The struggle of begin accepting by not only you race, but your sexuality is a very leading issue in today's society.

When I read the first impression of this book, I had high expectations. This book delivered those and more. Not only did the characters pull me in, but the plot did as well. The more that was exposed, the more i was hooked.

The writing felt fast paced for me, as well as the chapters. I absolutely consumed this story. For the most part, the technical aspect of the writing was pretty well written. It's just at the very beginning of the book, about twenty pages in, there is the word "prefect", and i cannot tell if that is the correct word or if it was supposed to be "perfect."

Not only is this book gripping, but it is educational. It sheds light form of racism that someone may not know they are doing. A form that almost seems invisible, but it isn't. It actually opened my eyes to ways racism might be present , but people of white skin may not notice they do.

I would totally recommend this book to everyone!!
